Weekend Preview: Schools, Divisional, Lambs and England Students

Mike Dolan 25 Jan 2013

Whilst some parts of the country are expected to be blitzed by one last snow flurry from this brutal cold snap, the increasing temperatures suggest that plenty of rugby will go ahead this weekend.

The final Daily Mail Cup 6th round fixtures will hopefully go ahead as Dulwich travel to KCS, Wimbledon and Wirral Grammar host The King’s School Macclesfield.

Two games that should almost certainly go ahead on Sunday will both take place on Maidenhead RFC’s 3 G pitch. The independent schools Lambs begin their 2013 campaign with a fixture against The Irish Exiles.

Also taking place at Maidenhead is one of two divisional u18 matches. South East take on the south west whilst at Rugby Lions RFC The North take on The Midlands.

Another huge fixture this weekend see’s England Students take on Portugal in Lisbon where they will be looking to register their first ever win over the Portuguese.
